When working with clients who are struggling with Lyme disease, I take a whole-person approach that focuses on both physical recovery and emotional resilience. One of the most effective tools I use is medical massage, with a special emphasis on lymphatic drainage techniques, which help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support the body in clearing out toxins and bacterial die-off that often worsen symptoms. This targeted massage not only relieves joint and muscle pain but also assists in restoring energy levels and reducing brain fog by encouraging the body’s natural detox pathways to function more efficiently. In addition to physical therapies, I integrate hypnotherapy to address the stress, anxiety, and emotional burden that often accompany chronic Lyme disease. Hypnosis helps calm the nervous system, strengthen immune function, and reframe the mind away from fear and frustration into greater calm and empowerment, which is crucial for healing. For clients with neurological or cranial Lyme symptoms, I may also incorporate gentle craniosacral techniques and sound-based therapies to restore balance, ease pressure, and support clarity of thought. By combining medical massage, mind-body therapies, and individualized care, I help clients not only manage their symptoms but also rebuild a sense of vitality, hope, and strength as they move forward in their healing journey.
Depression, grief and mood disorders are not just about “feeling sad” — they can affect energy, motivation, focus, sleep, and even physical health. My approach is designed to address both the mind and body, creating lasting shifts rather than temporary relief. Through hypnotherapy, I help clients access the subconscious mind to release patterns of negative thinking, quiet self-criticism, and strengthen new, empowering beliefs that support emotional balance. This process not only reduces symptoms of depression but also restores a sense of self-worth, motivation, and hope.
I also use mind-body therapies, such as guided relaxation, breathwork, and vibrational sound, to calm the nervous system and lower stress hormones that often worsen mood disorders. By bringing the nervous system into balance, clients often experience better sleep, more stable energy, and greater resilience to daily challenges. For those struggling with brain fog, anxiety, or trauma-related depression, I incorporate techniques that support the brain’s ability to reset and rewire itself for healthier thought and emotional patterns.
My care is always holistic and personalized — we address the root causes of imbalance while building new mental and emotional strengths. The result is not just symptom relief, but a renewed ability to engage with life with clarity, calm, and confidence.
Parkinson’s disease is a progressive condition that affects both the nervous system and overall quality of life, often leaving individuals with symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, reduced mobility, anxiety, and emotional fatigue. While conventional treatment plays an essential role in managing the disease, complementary approaches like the BAUD (Bio-Acoustic Utilization Device), vibrational sound therapy, and hypnotherapy can provide significant additional support. The BAUD uses specifically tuned sound frequencies to help rebalance neural patterns, calm overactive brain circuits, and improve focus, which may enhance motor control and reduce anxiety. Vibrational sound therapy works by sending soothing frequencies through the body that can relax muscles, lower stress, and stimulate circulation, creating a sense of ease in both body and mind. Hypnotherapy complements these modalities by addressing the psychological and emotional challenges of Parkinson’s, reducing stress hormones that worsen symptoms, and improving sleep, mood, and overall resilience. Together, these therapies provide a powerful mind-body approach: sound-based interventions help regulate nervous system activity and restore balance, while hypnotherapy strengthens emotional stability and activates the body’s natural healing responses. This integrative combination not only eases physical discomfort but also empowers individuals to cope with the daily challenges of Parkinson’s disease with greater calm, clarity, and vitality.
Autism and ADHD therapy and coaching provide a compassionate, individualized approach to support neurodivergent individuals in understanding themselves, building self-esteem, and developing practical tools for everyday success. Rather than trying to "fix" or mask neurodivergent traits, this type of support celebrates unique ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. Therapy helps individuals process emotions, manage sensory or emotional overload, and navigate challenges like anxiety, burnout, or social confusion, while coaching focuses on building executive function skills, self-advocacy, and confidence in personal and professional settings.
Medical massage is a specialized therapeutic practice that focuses on treating specific health conditions, injuries, and chronic pain through targeted, evidence-based techniques tailored to the individual’s unique needs. Unlike general relaxation massage, medical massage aims to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, enhance mobility, and support the body’s natural healing processes by addressing underlying issues such as inflammation, scar tissue, nerve compression, or musculoskeletal imbalances. Delivered by highly trained therapists who understand anatomy, physiology, and pathology, medical massage works in conjunction with medical treatments and rehabilitation to accelerate recovery, alleviate discomfort, and restore function. This approach not only relieves pain but also helps prevent future injury.
Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, specialized therapy designed to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system, enhancing the natural flow of lymph fluid to remove toxins, reduce swelling, and boost immune function. Using light, rhythmic strokes, this massage helps to clear blockages and encourage circulation of lymph, which plays a crucial role in maintaining fluid balance and defending against infections. It is especially beneficial for individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions like lymphedema, or experiencing inflammation and fluid retention. Beyond its physical benefits, lymphatic drainage massage promotes deep relaxation and supports the body’s detoxification processes, leaving clients feeling rejuvenated and energized. By improving lymphatic flow and reducing congestion, this therapy fosters overall health.
Hypnotherapy is a profoundly transformative therapeutic approach that harnesses the power of deep relaxation and focused awareness to access the subconscious mind—the source of our deepest beliefs, habits, and emotional responses. By gently bypassing the critical conscious mind, hypnotherapy enables rapid and lasting change at the root level, breaking through barriers that traditional therapies often cannot reach. This powerful process helps clients dissolve limiting beliefs, release trapped emotions, and reprogram their mindset to unlock untapped potential, resilience, and self-confidence. Hypnotherapy empowers individuals to reclaim control over their lives with clarity, calm, and conviction.

After menopause began, I could hardly sleep, waking up after just a couple of hours many nights. This went on for years, where I would get a decent night's sleep here and there, but most nights were full of frustration. I had a virtual session with Shea and slept through the night that night! I listened to the audio Shea made for me every night before bed for the next week I have continue to sleep like a baby! Shea is a magician!

Shea is a compassionate partner in working to eliminate roadblocks in one's thinking. Non-intrusive, gentle, yet extremely powerful and effective. Anxiety levels began dropping shortly after the first session. By second session, I had more peace and calm overall, feelings of self-worth. She is a gentle, kind healer and her work has changed my life. Highly recommend!

Wow! I feel that ever person I know should do coaching with Shea. I was VERY stuck in my life when we started, having a difficult time losing weight, concentrating and running my business. The 1st session did something to my brain that needed to be done for a very long time. I felt such a sense of relief knowing I was going to get better, and I continued to improve week after week. I have just finished my last session and I am definitely a different person than when we started. I feel much more confident, I have lost 14 pounds and I've been able to increase revenue for my business with the new ideas that have come to me during this process.

Since I was a teenager I had a lot of fear and anxiety. My father died when I was young and when that happened I became very afraid of getting sick. Because of that fear, I became sick over and over again. I was too afraid to even go to the doctor because I didn't want to know if something was wrong. Luckily, I grew up and was able to overcome being a hypocondriac, but I was left with daily anxiety. Every day there was a pit in my stomach I could not get away from. That lasted for about 20 years. Then I began having panic attacks that I could not control. That is when I went to see Shea. It was a bit of a process for me. The first thing I experienced was a better mood. I just began feeling better, is the only way I can describe it. The pit in my stomach disappeared. Then I began wanting to change my life. I was in a job I did not love, and I had no idea what my passion was. Suddenly, I began to think about things differently. I began to think about how I wanted my life to be and it seemed easy to make changes. I quit my job and started a business of my own. I honestly still can't believe I made the change so easily. I am now in a place where I love my life and I owe it all to her. I am writing this review because I no longer need her services, but will always be indebted to her.

I had suffered from sciatica pain down my leg for almost a year. I had injections in my back, had gone through physical therapy, and had used other massage therapists to help with the pain. I received some relief from what I was doing prior to meeting Shea, but nothing lasted. A friend recommended I see Shea for medical massage, as it had helped her get rid of her headaches. I was amazed at the difference I felt after the first session. After 3 sessions, my sciatica pain was completely gone. In writing this several months later, my pain has not returned. Shea spent the time to watch how I moved after the pain was gone and gave me specific stretches to do to maintain her work. I have since recommended several people to Shea and she has helped each one!

I drove all the way from SC to get medical massage from one of a kind therapist Shea Shulman for nerve pain down my arm! She not only diligently worked all of my trigger points out and got rid of my pain, but she was super compassionate, genuine, and concerned about my healing! If you are a Florida native, you are missing out big time if you go to a different place. Highly recommended! Five stars experience!

Shea is an amazing medical massage therapist. Her knowledge of the the human body is undeniable. I have been a client of Shea’s for about 8 years and she has seen me through all of my aches and pains including a frozen shoulder. I am truly thankful that I have her in my life.
Kirby B. Parrish, FL
She is highly skilled and focused on what you need. I had front shoulder pain for several years and had seen several therapists with no change in my condition. I saw Shea for 4 sessions and the pain was gone! Turns out the problem was coming from a chest muscle and not the shoulder muscles. Definitely recommend her treatments.

I have been seeing Shea for many years for massage therapy. Just being an aging man, there always seems to be something I need help with. I have seen Shea for neck pain, low back pain, knee pain, elbow pain and even thumb pain. Every time I see her, she fixes me! I even tell my doctors about her. If you have pain, go see Shea because she will likely fix you too!

After a car accident, I began having severe headaches. I initially contacted my chiropractor, who helped the severity of the headaches. However, they did not go away (I had them daily) and eventually began worsening again. Shea had helped me in the past with low back pain, and I should have contacted her sooner. I had a very bad headache the first day she worked on me. Before the end of the session, my headache was gone. I did two more sessions and did not have to see her for the headaches again. I now see her for a routine monthly maintenance massage and my body feels great! Thank you Shea!

I began having low back pain in my 30's. I played a lot of sports in high school that caught up to me early on, and now being in my early 60's, it has just been a part of my life I deal with. Sometimes it is really bad, and other times it is very manageable. I met Shea through a friend and she felt she could help me. I appreciated that she did not promise to "fix" my back and I felt a massage couldn't hurt. She convinced me to set up a few sessions, and I am glad I did. I felt good after the first session, but by the last session (I did 4 sessions), I felt better than I had in a very long time. What is amazing is that the pain has not returned to the low-level aching pain I would feel on a daily basis, especially in the mornings or after sitting for a long time. With just some daily stretching and a tune up from Shea once in a while, I am doing great. Shea is fantastic!

I developed plantar fasciitis after taking on high intensity workouts. My podiatrist eventually gave me a shot in my foot that helped temporarily. When I met with Shea, she told me that the foot pain was caused by my low back and hip muscles on that side. When she explained how the nerves work and how my back and hip could cause my foot pain, it made sense, especially since I had been dealing with the pain for about 6 months without relief from other things. Sure enough, Shea was right. My foot pain disappeared after three sessions, and she never even touched my foot! I did return for a fourth session where she worked on my foot, but I am not sure it was even needed. I have a better understanding of my body due to this experience and know exactly where to go if I have any other pain in the future.

When I went to see Shea, I was suffering from a lot of knee and hip pain that kept me from exercising. I used to love to go for long walks, but when the knee pain started, I became unable to keep up with my activities. I have had a lot of sadness in my life and as much as I worked on myself in therapy and meditation, it never fully resolved. The pain and inability to exercise made me more depressed. In the first session with Shea, my knee pain and my hip pain were significantly reduced. In fact, the knee pain went away. After the second session, my hip pain was so much better that I began to go for walks again. I was supposed to go back for a third session, but I have been feeling so good that I did not need it. I don't know exactly what she did, but it worked! I feel so much better in my mood and my body!

Shea demonstrates her passions through her actions. She actively seeks out new ways to expand and implement her knowledge, therefore bestowing upon her clients. If you receive therapy from her, you will certainly benefit from her vast skill, as I did.
