Medical Massage is a highly effective form of massage therapy that is outcome based. Your first session begins with a full assessment to best determine the cause of your pain.  The assessment is performed even if you already have a diagnosis from your physician to understand the soft tissue components of your pain.  Medical Massage utilizes several modalities that have been scientifically proven to effectively treat soft tissue. 

There are 4 types of tissue we address in Medical Massage, as each can have components that contribute to your feelings of pain.  They are the skin, connective tissue (fascia), muscles and periosteum of bone. Instead of using a shotgun approach where all tissues are targeted using one type of treatment, Medical Massage uses different methods designed to work on each type of tissue individually. This produces reliable results because the right tool is being used for each problem area throughout the session.
